Tribal Trust Travel Plan Tanzania

Do you ever experience wanderlust? Traveling with the Tribal Trust Foundation (TTF) offers a unique  opportunity to expand one’s consciousness and consider another way of being in the world while helping an Indigenous culture. For over ten years, the TTF has invited adventurous donors to join us exploring bio-diverse landscapes while meeting the Indigenous people who live there.

As you read this, I am in Tanzania leading ten women on a Tribal Trust safari. This safari, supports the mission of the Tribal Trust Foundation by sharing Indigenous wisdom in support of nature and global healing. I have dreamed of a two-fold objective for our extraordinary journey. The first is to provide each person with the opportunity for a return to stillness, connection, well-being, and belonging. The second is to have a transformative direct experience with the Indigenous Hadzabe hunter-gatherers that reawakens our ancestral memory of being a part of nature while reviving our Indigenous sensibilities. In reciprocity, we will ask the Indigenous community how we can support them with their cultural preservation initiatives.

As one devoted TTF traveler expressed:

The Tribal Trust enabled us to experience the extraordinary country of Bhutan and some of its most special people in the finest way possible. The logistics were completely and ideally handled, the accommodations were five star and of highest character, we had customizable levels of physical activity, and the most insightful, darling and brilliant guides. Bhutan is now my favorite country in the world, not only because of its dramatic terrain, gorgeous architecture and beautifully spiritual people, but also because we were able to experience it as very special guests of the Tribal Trust.
