For those who have traveled to Africa with me before, I listened to your wishes! We are staying three nights (instead of the usual 1-2 nights) at each extraordinarily iconic safari camp and the trip is longer, so you will not feel the need to extend it, unless you want to arrive a day earlier to recover from jetlag. We will be a small group of friends (8 tents total) on each property, ensuring exclusive occupancy of each camp. We will also have our own charter plane (female pilot requested) with two safari guides and vehicles at each camp.
Your $2,500 tax-deductible donation and $27,500 ($30,000 total) per person cost includes private charter plane and all travel expenses while in Namibia and Botswana. Your donation will help support indigenous grassroots sustainable cultural preservation projects. Please note, the cost of travel in Africa goes up annually 8-10% due to demand, fuel costs, and everything being flown into remote camps, conservation & community fees, etc. I was surprised to learn that $25,000-$30,000 is now the norm. Fortunately, I was able to reduce the original quote for this itinerary by thousands of dollars with the understanding we fill the eight tents.
