I recently returned from a deeply moving journey to Ireland—a pilgrimage of the heart and spirit to the land of my ancestors. As I walked the ancient paths, stood beneath moss-covered trees, and sat in stillness on ancient mountain tops, I could feel the presence of those who came before me.
In honoring Indigenous traditions across the world through the work of the Tribal Trust Foundation, I’ve often reflected on the truth that we all come from an Indigenous lineage. Somewhere in each of our bloodlines, there are people who lived in intimate relationship with the land, who listened to Nature, who knew that every being is part of a sacred web of life.
May we all take time to listen, to remember, and to reconnect—not just with the Earth, but with the wisdom that lives in our stories and our bones. That is the path of healing.
