Support Our Work!

This month we are reminded to be thankful for the bounty of love and abundance in our lives. GivingTuesday is an opportunity to support the work of the Tribal Trust Foundation so we can continue to bring smiles to the Indigenous youth of the Shipibo-Konibo in the Peruvian Amazon.

Holly Sherwin
“As a Tribal Trust Foundation Board member and illustrator of ‘Monpa Medicinal Plants’, a book published and researched by the Tribal Trust to bring attention to the plant medicine of the indigenous Monpa people of Bhutan, I am fully committed to making a difference through service as well as Legacy Giving.

I have traveled with Barbara and the Tribal Trust Foundation throughout Bhutan, to the Black Hills of South Dakota, and to Albuquerque, NM and Spirit Pine, CA.  With each trip comes a greater appreciation of the work Tribal Trust has accomplished and the level of deep connection with all human kind that their work promotes.  My hope is that by embracing the Indigenous wisdom that views our natural world as sacred, we can all learn to be better stewards of this lovely planet Earth.”

The Tribal Trust Foundation is located in the unceded homelands of the Chumash People and the Seminole Tribe of Florida. By recognizing these communities, we attempt to honor their legacies, their lives, and descendants.
