We are proud to partner with, and be part of, passing on ancestral knowledge with Bari Wesna in Péru. Support their recent Traditional Singing & Medicinal Plants workshops was an honor.

Held in the children’s library ‘’Jainoax Axeti Xobo’’ in the Intercultural community Bena Jema, and led by the wise Betty Muñoz, ancestral knowledge was shared with 25 boys and 20 girls between the ages of 6 and 15. During the sessions, they learned about the proper use of medicinal plants and had special moments to practice traditional songs such as the Ikaro and the Masha, expressions that transmit deep visions about life and nature.

The workshop concluded with a demonstration contest, in which the children prepared to show everything they had learned.
